A Gold Medal was Awarded to Azuca Patisserie’s for it’s 5 Tier Cake inspired by New York’s Seasonal Autumn Flora. The Gold Medal was awarded by the the Société Culianaire Philanthropique it is one of the oldest Chefs Association in the United States. Founded in 1865, it regroups chefs, cooks, pastry chefs, bakers and butchers, including some of America’s most famous chefs.
The Salon of Culinary Art, organized by the Société Culinaire Philanthropique, is presented each year in November during the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. The Salon welcomes participants from around the world, professionals, students and amateurs alike, who showcase their skills using traditional and modern techniques to present current trends in the culinary world.
